2. What Spendo provides

Spendo helps you record and organize income, expenses, accounts, currencies, budgets, recurring records, savings goals, and shared household finances. Features may include receipt scanning, imports, exports, reports, notifications, and device widgets, depending on your app version and the offer available to you.

Spendo is a record-keeping tool. Its current features do not connect to your bank to retrieve transactions, hold money, execute payments, or transfer funds between bank accounts. An account transfer entered in Spendo updates your records; it does not move real money.

Reports, estimates, and budget calculations are informational and are not personalized financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice. Check important figures against your original records before relying on them.

3. Accounts and access

Some features work locally without an account. Cloud and household features require an account and, where indicated, an internet connection. Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. Do not share passwords or verification codes with support or other household members.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into the applicable agreement, or the authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required. A purchase requires the authorization of the payment account holder.

Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are not automatically responsible for activity outside your control merely because it occurred through your account.

4. Your records, synchronization, and exports

You retain your rights in the information you enter. You authorize us to store, process, and display it only as needed to provide the features you use, handle your requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling separately; these Terms do not replace any consent required by law.

Personal records can be stored on your device and synchronized with your signed-in account. Offline changes are not backed up to the cloud until synchronization succeeds. Check sync status before changing devices, uninstalling Spendo, or clearing its data. These actions can remove unsynchronized local records.

Review imported data and receipt-scan results before saving. Recognition and conversion may produce errors. Keep original receipts and use available export tools for records you need to retain. Exported copies and files shared with other apps are managed by you and their recipients.

These practical precautions do not exclude our responsibility for defects or loss for which we are legally responsible.

5. Household records and budgets

When you create or join a household, its current members can access shared household information and records. Invite only people with whom you intend to share this information, and protect invitation codes. Do not include another person's information unless you are authorized to do so.

Household records are shared records, not separate personal copies for every member. They appear in Search when household records are selected and do not appear in the Home personal-history card. Selecting a household when adding a record does not also charge or credit your selected personal account.

Saving a household record requires an internet connection. The server saves the record and updates its budget totals together. A rejected or offline save does not create a personal fallback record. If a connection interruption makes the outcome uncertain, check household records after reconnecting before submitting a new record.

Household income adds funding to the month of the record after confirmation. Available funding equals the base monthly budget plus that month's income; remaining funding equals available funding minus expenses. Income does not turn spending negative or permanently increase the base monthly budget.

Household totals follow calendar months in UTC. The base budget remains in place, while each month's income and expenses are calculated separately. Unused funding does not automatically roll over. Starting a new month does not delete earlier records.

Individual household records cannot currently be deleted through the app, including by the owner. The owner can delete the entire household, which removes its shared records for all members. Leaving a household or deleting your own account does not necessarily remove its shared historical records. Where other members remain, ownership may pass to a remaining member. Contact us about corrections or privacy requests; these interface limitations do not restrict statutory rights.

6. Plans, prices, and purchases

Spendo may offer Free, Plus, and Gold plans. The offer presented before purchase identifies the included features, allowances, price, currency, billing period, and renewal conditions. The store confirmation shows the amount you authorize. Do not rely on an example price or a feature not included in your offer.

Purchases, where available, use Google Play or Apple's App Store. Their applicable payment and subscription terms also apply. The checkout and receipt identify the relevant seller and billing arrangement. A subscription is not activated merely by tapping a purchase button; payment and subscription verification must complete.

Monthly or annual subscriptions renew as disclosed at checkout unless canceled. Manage renewal through the store account used to purchase. Ordinary cancellation normally stops the next renewal, with access continuing until the paid period ends, subject to the store's confirmed status and any applicable refund or withdrawal. Uninstalling Spendo or deleting a Spendo account does not itself cancel store billing.

Use Restore purchases with the original store account and the Spendo account associated with the purchase if access is missing. Contact support if verification remains unsuccessful. Do not purchase again merely to retry verification. Plan changes, credits, and their effective dates follow the offer and store confirmation.

Allowances apply as disclosed for the applicable feature and period. Temporary preview access or an unenforced allowance is not a promise of permanent unlimited access. We will not use later enforcement to retroactively charge for earlier use or reduce an existing paid commitment contrary to applicable law.

7. Withdrawal, refunds, and consumer remedies

Statutory withdrawal and defect remedies remain available. Consumers in the EU generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance service contract. Applicable exceptions require the legally prescribed conditions; merely using Spendo does not automatically waive these rights.

Use the store's withdrawal or refund route where it handles the transaction, or contact admin@ensight-tech.de with a clear request and purchase reference. If immediate service was expressly requested, a proportionate charge may apply on withdrawal only where legally permitted. Required pre-contract withdrawal information and any model form are supplied with the relevant purchase process.

There is no blanket “no refunds” rule in these Terms. Contact us about defective or missing service; mandatory rights to correction, price reduction, termination, or reimbursement are unaffected.

8. Acceptable use and app license

We grant you a non-exclusive right to use Spendo for its intended purposes under these Terms and your applicable plan. You may not unlawfully access another person's records, distribute malicious code, disrupt the service, misuse invitations, or evade payment or security controls.

Spendo's software, branding, and original interface remain the property of their respective rights holders. Restrictions do not override rights granted by law or applicable open-source licenses. You may report suspected vulnerabilities privately to admin@ensight-tech.de.

9. Availability and changes

Network outages, maintenance, and third-party service interruptions can affect cloud features and notifications. We provide legally required updates and remedies. Additional changes may be necessary for security, legal compliance, or technical compatibility. Changes affecting a paid service will follow applicable notice, consent, and termination requirements; we do not reserve an unrestricted right to remove paid features.

10. Ending use and account deletion

You may stop using Spendo at any time. To delete your account, use Profile → Edit Profile → Delete account, or contact admin@ensight-tech.de if you cannot access the app. Identity verification may be necessary. Export records you wish to keep and separately manage any store subscription.

Account deletion removes account data through the deletion process described in our Privacy Policy. Shared household history, externally exported copies, and legally retained information may be treated differently from your personal records.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a serious breach, fraud, security threat, or legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or remedy the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent risks. Any refund, data-access, or other statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Responsibility and applicable law

Our liability is governed by applicable law. These Terms do not exclude liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, injury to life, body, or health, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Statutory court jurisdiction remains unchanged; consumers are not required by these Terms to bring claims exclusively in Hagen or to use binding arbitration.

12. Updates to these Terms

We will identify revised versions and notify you of material proposed changes. Consent will be requested where required. Publication alone, silence, or continued use will not be treated as consent where the law requires express agreement. Existing purchases remain subject to their agreed terms unless lawfully changed.
